This free weekly Thursday concert series during the spring and fall is one of many events that take place at the town-owned Icehouse Amphitheater (107 West Main St.). icehouseamphitheater.com.

Lexington County Blowfish
The collegiate summer wood bat baseball team’s 2022 season started in May and continues through July 30 (with playoff games to possibly follow thereafter). The home games are played at Lexington County Baseball Stadium (474 Ball Park Rd).

Lexington Wine Walk
May TBD. Icehouse Amphitheater, 107 West Main St. icehouseamphitheater.com. This annual event features hors d’oeuvres from downtown Lexington restaurants and merchants and, naturally, wine.

Town of Lexington Snowball Festival
December TBD. Downtown Lexington. Lexsc.com. Festival for the holiday season includes a tree lighting, a parade and more.

Lexington County Chili Cookoff
February TBD. Icehouse Amphitheater, 107 West Main St. icehouseamphitheater.com. Local organizations cook chili. People eat it, vote on it and enjoy while live music plays.

St. Patrick’s Shamrock Parade
March TBD. Downtown Lexington. The Lexington County Blowfish throws a parade on Main Street to mark the holiday.

It’s All About Herbs
March TBD. Lexington County Museum Complex. lexingtoncountymuseum.org, 231 Fox St.. Free annual festival focuses on herbs with plants for sale, baked goods, seminars and more.

Kid’s Day of Lexington
April TBD. Virginia Hylton Park, Lexington. lexingtonkidsday.com. Kid-friendly performances, vendors, bounce houses, local sports mascots.

Business Lexpo
June/July 2022 TBD. lexingtonsc.org. This expo put on by the Lexington Chamber highlights local businesses.
