Lexington County Vegan Chef Challenge now open

The first annual Lexington County Vegan Chef Challenge has begun.

The challenge will be open throughout the entire month of September.

Residents are encouraged to go to participating restaurants and go and sample various local chefs’ cuisines and then vote for their favorite at the Lexington County Vegan Chef Challenge’s website.

The participating restaurants are Yalla Y’all, The Manchester Hotel feat Granddam, Lost Palm, Grounded All Day Cafe, Infinity Rooftop, Good Foods Co-Op, Okome Asian Grill, Ramsey's Diner (All 4 Locations), Lexington Tea Camp; Brie, Bert &39;s Speakcheezy, 33 Staves, Bad Wolf Burgers, Ruth Hunt Candy Company, School Sushi, NuHealth Kitchen and Mazunte Bodega.

The winning dishes will be announced in October.
