Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Grab the kids and head over to Clinton Sease Farms (382 Olde Farm Rd.) for their Children’s Easter Egg Hunt. In addition to the hunt, your ticket includes a wagon ride, a cow train, BubbleMania, playgrounds and obstacle courses, photo ops with the Easter bunny, and more. Jarred Armstrong (concert)

Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St. in West Columbia) and singer/saxophonist Jarred Armstrong present “A Night of Sax. Soul & Rhythmic Grooves.” Armstrong plays his soul-jazz fusion on hits and classics by Kem, Brian McKnight, Maxwell, Bill Withers, the Gap Band and many more. MTC Showoff 2024

The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St.) takes a break from their performance schedule to pay tribute to their own talented folks. The MTC Showoff 2024 event features Midlands Technical College students, faculty, staff, and alumni as they compete for the title of “Biggest Showoff.” All final contestants will perform on stage and compete for the $1,000 first-place title. The Boondock Boys (concert)

Bill’s Music Shop & Pickin’ Parlor (710 Meeting St. in West Columbia) typically features acoustic bluegrass or gospel in their weekend shows, but this time they’re doing something a little different. Riverwalk Rabbit Run

The Greater CWC Cares Foundation presents the inaugural Riverwalk Rabbit Run 5K. Meet up at Stone River (121 Alexander Rd. in West Columbia) and take a scenic journey along the Congaree River and through the avenues of Cayce-West Columbia and enjoy an Easter egg hunt with the kids after the run. Wine Tasting

The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Pkwy.) hosts a wine tasting. Guests are in for an evening of elegance and exploration as they sample hand-selected wines and light bites. For those who prefer hops to grapes, an assortment of craft brews can be sampled in the Beer Garden. Open Mic Benefit Show (concert)

Steel Hands Brewing puts on a show of local talent for a worthy cause with their Open Mic Night, benefitting LLS, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Steel Hands will donate $1 to the organization for every pint poured from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., singer Shiloh Woods performs a song she wrote specifically for the event, and Kendra Scott is on hand selling a special line of jewelry to benefit the LLS. Prettier Than Matt (concert)

The Icehouse Live 2024 concert series at the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) rolls on with a performance from Prettier Than Matt. Tartan Day Festival

The Historic Columbia Speedway (2001 Charleston Hwy. in Cayce) hosts the Tartan Day South Festival Highland Games & Celtic Festival from April 4th through April 7th. Tartan Day South pays tribute to Celtic culture and heritage within South Carolina’s Midlands area. It highlights the traditions of Ireland, Scotland, and England from the United Kingdom. The event aims to support the non-profit River Alliance, dedicated to both connecting people with the area’s rivers and safeguarding these vital waterways.
