The Humane Society of South Carolina has the annual Woofstock event each year. People were invited to bring their pets in costume. The event was held at the Icehouse Amphitheater in Lexington on Nov. 3. There were local vendors selling their crafts and local food vendors. The Humane Society had several dogs for adoption. Hundreds of people attended and everyone enjoyed themselves. Entertainment was provided by the Killer Beez band. A silent auction was held and a pet costume contest. Proceeds from the auction were given towards to the Humane Society to help animals in need, neglect and overpopulation.
