21-day detox challenge

Congratulations on taking the first step in improving your health and wellbeing.

You are starting a journey to discover how food may be negatively affecting your health and ability to achieve your goals.

You will likely learn a lot of other things throughout this process.

For instance, vegetables really are not that bad!

Remember, this is YOUR journey, not someone else’s.

It will be different for each person, and you can’t compare your experience or results with those of others.

As you get started, I highly encourage you to take some time and identify where you are starting. Specifically, how are you feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally?

You may want to pull out a pair of pants that barely button or don’t fit at all, try them on, and take a photo. Before-and-after photos are a great way to visually record your progress.

Here are some questions you may want to spend some time reflecting on:

• What are the 3 most toxic behaviors I have physically? Examples include: not sleeping enough, eating a diet high in processed foods, not exercising, etc.

• What are the 3 most toxic behaviors I have mentally? Examples include: low self-esteem, negative self-talk, mood problems, etc.

• What would my life look like and feel like without these behaviors and habits?

• What food consistently has the worst effect on me? How does it make me feel, look, and perform?

• What are my intentions for participating in this program?

Taking the 15-20 minutes to answer these questions will start to put your mindset in the right place to improve your health and get the results you are looking for!
