First Sergeant David Pelley calls out the attack of the 3rd hijacked plane September 11, 2001. American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon at 9:37 am, killing 189 and injuring many others. First Sergeant Pelley called out each attack at the time they happened: 8:46 am, 9:03 am, 9:37 am and 10:03 am. The 9/11 Memorial Bell was rung and the names of the 3,000 lost lives were read at the Columbia Convention Center.
