I thank the two ladies who tried to help me when my van suddenly died in the parking lot at Target. Even though they could not resusitate my van with jumper cables, I do appreciate their valiant effort, especially at such a busy time of the year.

I also thank the police officers who came to the rescue. I am grateful to the officer who stayed with me until my daughter came to take me home. It is wonderful to know there are many who are willing to help their neighbors.

Mr. Rogers would be pleased.
