The upcoming Halloween celebration means that multiple events are happening in our area. Here’s a quick rundown of what I know about.

St. James Lutheran,

along with Nazareth Lutheran will host a Trunk r’ Treat & Fall Festival October 27, 5-8 pm., with trunk or treat candy, a bounce house, pumpkin painting, face art, and more family friendly activites. Hamburgers will be served as well.

Bethany Lutheran Church on Bethany Church Road will host a Trunk Or Treat October 27, 6-8 pm.

Radius of White Knoll will hold its second annual Trunk-or-Treat October 28, with candy, free food, a bounce house, and more. This event is in the student parking lot at White Knoll High School, 6-8 pm.

Lexington Church of God on Nazareth Road will hold its annual Bible-themed event, “T-N-T,” Oct. 30-31, 6-9 pm. This Biblical walk is a dramatized telling of the characters and stories in the Bible. There will also be concessions, games, hayrides, and tons of candy.

Congratulations to the White Knoll Marching Timberwolves Band on

winning the 2018 Lower State Marching Band Championship last Saturday, capping a great year for the band. Thanks to Director Tom Padgett for bringing a quality program to WKHS, and to all the parents and band boosters as well.
