Art museum honors Lexington man

The Columbia Museum of Art has honored Lexington resident Sam McCuen with the 2019 John Richard Craft Leadership Award.

McCuen, a committed philanthropist and community leader, epitomizes the values the CMA recognizes each year with the award.

For more than 30 years, McCuen has devoted his time, talent and resources to champion the arts, history and preservation, science, education, the environment, and civil rights.

As president of Sam E. McCuen & Associates, Mc-Cuen has been recognized throughout his career with numerous national and international awards.
