Barbara Jeter Jeffcoat will soon become the newest member of the Brookland-Cayce High School Hall of Fame.
Jeffcoat will be recognized at the annual gala Feb. 7 at Seawell’s at the SC State Fairgrounds in Columbia.
Jeffcoat joined Brookland-Cayce High in 1973 as a special needs resource teacher for 2 years. She then worked as a guidance counselor and director until her retirement in 2002. Jeffcoat today lives in West Columbia with her husband, Steve.
The event begins at 6 pm with a social hour and silent auction, followed by the induction ceremony at 7. Tickets are $25 per person.
The Brookland-Cayce High School Foundation supports the school’s students through scholarships and other activities.
