Who doesn’t like a fresh cup of coffee with a donut for breakfast? You can get one free 6:30 - 8:30 am Monday, May 17, at the Bi-Rite in Gaston.

You are invited to meet Gaston Police Chief Stephen Watkins and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Resident Deputy Shannon Lovell with other officers to answer any concerns you may have.

PELION POLICE Chief John Rebolj reminds travelers that the speed limit has been changed going through town. What was a 45 mph limit has been dropped to 35 mph. This change begins before Old Charleston Highway and continues past the trash recycling center.

Chief Rebolj wants the public to know that this decrease in speed will start to be enforced so please slow down in going through Pelion.
