12 confirmed SC covid deaths and 1 probable death were reported Thursday.

1 elderly death in Lexington County occurred 3 days ago.

Columbia and Richland County lost 2 elderly patients this week.

Lexington County had 114 new cases, Richland County 155.

Greenville County continued to lead the state with 344 cases.

  • Confirmed and probable cases: 225,053/16,633
  • Confirmed and probable deaths: 4,291/336
  • Tests performed for South Carolinians: 2,967,221

  • Testing opportunities available statewide: 310

Percent positive (scdhec.gov/COVID19dashboard)

  • 8,828 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
  • 21.3% tested positive for infection.
  •  That means 78.7% tested negative as virus free.
