The Pelion Women’s Club plans a farmers and craft fair 8 am - 1 pm May 22 at the Walking Trail. 30 vendors have signed up. Proceeds go to Pelion High scholarships.
THE WOMEN’S Ministry of Convent Baptist took snack baskets filled to the brim with a large card signed by church members to the Pelion Police Department, Pelion and Fairview Fire Departments, Sheriff’s and EMS station to recognize and thank them for their service.
A PUBLIC service recognition will be Sunday, May 23 at 10:30 am at Convent Baptist to honor the police, fire, EMS, doctors, nurses, CAN, CMA, and first responders. All are welcome to attend to show their support.
PELION RURITAN will place 16 new bricks at the memorial site with the help of Jesse Jeffcoat who graciously lends his service to this endeavor.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Malcolm Lucas, Carlton Herndon, and Donald Jeffcoat. Happy anniversary to Charles and Carolyn Taylor.
