Lexington Church of God is hosting a free movie night this Friday, November 9, showing the recent Christian film “I Can Only Imagine.” It tells the powerful story behind the popular song by Mercy Me. The movie starts at 7 p.m. Lexington COG is located on Nazareth Road. Call 803-957-6675 for more information.

As previously reported, Life Springs Worship Center on Platt Springs Road across from White Knoll High School has reopened under its original name after closing the Redemption Church-affiliated location earlier this fall. This Sunday will be the new congregation’s first worship services at 10:30 am with Pastor Allen Thompson in the pulpit. Welcome to Rev. Thompson, his wife Crystal and two children.

Another recently revived church location is the former Lexington Church of God building at 1228 S. Lake Drive, which is now Reflection Fellowship. Services there are held Sundays at 10:30 am and Wednesdays at 7, with Pastor Jaye Smith.

Want to see how talented and creative our high school students are? White Knoll High School is holding its Fall Coffeehouse event Tuesday, November 13, from 6 until 8 pm. It’s open to the public in the main common area at the front of the school.
