Free seeds for your garden

Our Gilbert-Summit Branch Library will launch their new “Seed Exchange Program” Monday, May 17.

More than 22,000 free vegetable, herb and flower seeds will be available. You can choose what seeds you want to plant.

When the growing season ends, gardeners are asked to bring the seeds they harvested from their plants to the library.

Seeds harvested from heirloom plants or store bought will keep the program self-sustaining. Live and virtual programs will be available on their Facebook page.

Questions can be sent to Angie Brooks at: abrooks@lex.lib.sc.us.
