Should you get a check from the FTC?
From Nov. 2009 - Nov. 2016, Office Depot had consumers come in for free pc scans.
Many customers received false results. Convinced by those results, they purchased technical support and repair services.
The FTC investigated and is now refunding customers $34 million nationwide. 541,247 SC victims will receive $556k in refunds. The average amount refunded in SC is $54.
