The South Carolina women’s basketball team defeated the Kentucky Wildcats 78-66 on senior day to secure a share of the SEC regular season title. Tessa Johnson scored a team-high 16 points as four Gamecocks reached double figures. It is the fourth straight regular season title for South Carolina, who officially earned the No. 1 seed in the SEC tournament after winning a coin-flip over Texas. The SEC tournament begins on Wednesday with the Gamecocks first taking the court Friday.
