The Foundation introduced a new award this year – the Healthcare Service Scholarship Award.

A significant gift was made by a very special and caring anonymous donor to establish a new fund in support of this award. This donor believes that supporting our employees’ professional growth is a smart investment in the high quality of care so valuable to our patient community. It is their sincere hope that other individuals in our community will follow their lead in strategically supporting our Lexington Medical Center healthcare professionals by donating to this fund.

The 4 candidates receiving the Healthcare Service Scholarship Award were selected as representative of the donor in their volunteerism, character, and dedication to serving patients and coworkers with compassion and a positive attitude. The awardees are: Kristen Allen, Caitlin Murray, Katelyn Sease, and Sarah Wadford.
