J&J cleared for vaccinations

State and national health officials have put the J&J vaccine back in action.
The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control the Centers for Disease Control lifted the pause on the use of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine.
They determined the known and potential benefits of the vaccine outweigh the known and potential risks of blood clotting from the vaccine.
Vaccine providers with Janssen inventory which has been properly stored can give the single-shot vaccine.
