The June 9 primary elections will continue as planned.

The State Elections Commission is moving forward with the primary for federal, state, county and municipal elections.

Lexington County Elections Commission spokesperson Mary Brack said they had not yet announced plans for social distancing at the polls.

The Chronicle has asked the State Elections Commission:

•What will voting look like with social distancing and isolation orders?

•Will the governor exempt voting locations from the 3-people-or-less rule?

•Is online voting something the SEC will consider?

•How will the state and counties handle security and identity fraud?
