Lexington Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Otis Rawl will be retiring next June.

Rawl shared the news at the monthly Chamber of commerce breakfast.

The Lexington native has been with the Chamber since February of 2016.

Prior to taking the helm at the Lexington chamber, Rawl was the head of the South Carolina chamber of Commerce.

The search for a new Chamber president will begin in January.

The chamber has also launched a re-branding campaign.

The chamber will drop the word “Greater” and will be called “Lexington Chamber and Visitors of Center,” Connor Watkins told Chamber members.

The new logo will feature the 5 towers at the Lake Murray Dam.
