According to officials, on Aug. 1 three boats were out together on the Broad River in Newberry County.
As they headed back to Heller’s Creek Landing, one of the boats collided with 1 other boat, killing 2 people on board.
27-year-old Jamie Lindler, of Chapin, and 28-year-old Andrew Bunnell, of Irmo, were killed.
