Used car prices have increased 26.2%, or $6,454, in the last 12 months.

Those with the highest price increases are economy and higher priced cars.

Cars with the least price bumps are luxury SUVs.

According to iSeeCars. com’s latest analysis of over 1.9 million used car sales, prices rose 26.2% or $6,454, compared to last year.

Microchip shortages and the aftermath of Hurricane Ida will raise prices more.

iSeeCars’ analysis found some vehicles have lower-than-average increases, making them smarter buys.

Among vehicles with the greatest price increases:

• Mitsubishi Mirage up $4,457 (49.9%) to $13,398

• Nissan Leaf up $6,370 (46.8%) to $19,990

• Chevrolet Spark up $4,467 (44.7%) to $14,456

• Mercedes-Benz G-Class up $45,992 (40.2%) to $160,465

• MINI Hardtop 2 Door up $6,044 (34.8%) to $23,402
