The Town of Lexington closed out its annual Snowball Festival as it always does, with a Christmas Parade through downtown on Dec. 4. The event, put on by the Lexington Jaycees, was well attended, with people lining both sides of the street from Walgreens to the county courthouse along Main Street. Marching bands from River Bluff and White Knoll high schools marched, and groups such as the Lexington County Blowfish rode on floats. Dance groups participated as well. And, of course, Santa was there, too, riding through town on a fire engine.
