On April 10, S.C. Route 6 lanes heading toward Lexington on the Lake Murray Dam were closed for the return of Dining on the Dam, as guests ate and drank in the open air with a view of the reservoir. The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center brought the event back for the first time after canceling the spring event for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Reggie Sullivan Band performed. Artist Trahern Cook was on hand doing live painting. Among those in attendance was Lexington Mayor Steve MacDougall.
