Photos: Lexington celebrates season with Snowball Carnival

With perfect weather, Lexington’s Snowball Carnival, the centerpiece of the town’s annual Snowball Festival that was postponed from earlier in the month due to inclement conditions, drew a crowd to the Icehouse Amphitheater Dec. 16. There were free rides, balloon animals, face painting, cotton candy, s’mores and more on offer for those in attendance. Kids were able to write letters to Santa and stuff them in a box labeled as “North Pole Mail.”
