Rhythm on the River, the spring and fall concert series put on by the Greater Cayce/West Columbia Chamber & Visitors Program, returned Oct. 7 at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater, kicking off a run of free Friday events that continues through the end of the month. The headliner for the first fall concert was Phil Urban, who brought his Elvis tribute show back to the amphitheater, joined by his daughter Elizabeth Urban. The elder Urban ventured out into the crowd during the show in an effort to get them involved. He even handed out scarves to some in attendance. West Columbia’s Cafe Strudel sold food, and Ed’s Bartending Service offered libations.
