Photos: Saluda Shoals Park celebrates renovated splash area

On June 3, Saluda Shoals Park held a celebration to mark the renovation of its Saluda Splash water area. Included among the the features of the water area are a huge yellow tub that fills with water and dumps it on kids looking to beat the heat, as well as water sprays shaped like a mushroom, a frog and a snake and a horse splash where kids can spray water on a friend. The celebration also featured food trucks and an educational area where kids in attendance could learn about local wildlife.
