Cayce’s Steel Hands Brewing went all out in celebrating its first five years in business. The anniversary party came complete with two musical stages and five special beer releases, including special bottle reserve offering, along with a Lowcountry boil. There was also a special appearance from Santa himself and on-site vendors including Crumbl Cookies and mobile cigar lounge Tobacco in Tow.
Mel Washington, Prettier Than Matt, Dave Love and Congaree Bluff performed on the beer garden stage, while Kenny George & Scott Rankin, Civil Remedy, and Paul McDonald & the Mourning Doves played on the main stage.
The brewery grounds were filled with guests, including several who brought along furry friends (including some adorned in Steel Hands bandanas).
When the brewery opened in 2018, it became the biggest production brewing operation in South Carolina, though it has since moved down that list. But the products produced by its 30-barrel brewhouse proved popular – popular enough that the brewery expanded to North Carolina, opening a 20-barrel brewhouse in Greensboro in May 2022.
