Friday's swell of 1,720 new SC covid-19 cases dropped swiftly to 839 Saturday.
20 more confirmed deaths and 1 probable death were reported Sunday.
1 of those, an elderly Lexington County individual, died 5 days ago.
This was the 1st reported death in Lexington County in 8 days.
Another middle-aged Richland County individual died the same day, Nov. 3.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control Sunday announced:
- 825 new confirmed cases and 14 probable cases.
- 58 of those were Lexington County cases.
- 53 were in Columbia and Richland County.
- Confirmed cases to date are 175,730, probable cases 9,958, confirmed deaths 3,776, and probable deaths 260.

- As of Saturday, 2,173,744 tests have been conducted in the state. \
- 6,321 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday statewide.
- Of those, the percent who tested positive as infected was 13.1% or 828 individuals.
That means 5,493 (86.9%) tested negative as virus free.
