43rd Annual Pelion Peanut Party
The City of Pelion invites you to 951 Pine St. for their 43rd Annual Pelion Peanut Party. Farmers in Pelion have been producing and harvesting peanuts for years, and this aptly-named festival features a craft show, parade, car show, military exhibits, peanut butter and jelly sandwich-eating contest, frozen T-shirt contest, fabulous festival food, and amusement rides for the whole family. Wine On The River
The Lexington County Medical Center and the West Columbia Riverwalk (109 Alexander Rd.) present their Wine On The River event. Enjoy a memorable evening featuring live music from two different bands, fun activities, and a total culinary experience with unlimited food tastings and wine and craft beer pairings. Mike Super
Renowned illusionist Mike Super brings his show to the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College Blvd.). Columbia Audubon Society Bird Walk
12,000 Year History Park (1120 Ft. Congaree Tr.) and the Columbia Audubon Society team up to bring you closer to the past with their “Through the Eyes of the First Carolinians” trail walk. Spot rare and beautiful birds with the help of the Audubon Society, and learn about how the first South Carolinians might have lived in the process. This event begins at 9 a.m. and is free to attend. Jamie Wright (concert)

Celebrated pianist Andy Armstrong performs alongside Stefan Jackiw, one of America’s foremost violinists, and virtuosic clarinetist Yoonah Kim.
