Still Hopes honors first responders

Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community held its 4th annual First Responder Appreciation Breakfast Sept. 11.

The annual event was started to remember the attacks on the World Trade Center towers and to thank local police, fire and ambulance service for all they do for Still Hopes and the community, said Still Hope’s Stephanie Parker.

Over 80 Cayce and West Columbia policemen and firefighters attended.

They spoke of the strong bond of cooperation between their departments and Still Hopes.
