If you missed the Prom Princess Shopaganza at Red Bank United Methodist last weekend, you have one more chance to choose a formal gown from a selection of gently used, donated dresses. These are provided free of charge as a service to the community by Red Bank UMC. The last opportunity to shop is Saturday, March 16, 10 am-4 pm. Call the church at 359-4031 for information or visit www.rbumc.com .

The high school sports schedule gets busier and busier, with multiple teams in action on an almost daily basis. On the varsity level alone, today the White Knoll Timberwolves baseball team takes on Gilbert at home in a conference game; the girls varsity softball team hosts Midland Valley; and the boys varsity soccer team travels to Chapin. Friday, the baseball team plays host to Lexington, the girls varsity soccer team hosts Chapin, and the girls varsity softball squad plays at Chapin. Whatever your favorite sport, get out there and support our local Timberwolves teams all year long.

Congratulations to the White Knoll High School Athletic Department and the four student-athletes who signed recently to play sports at the college level next year. The students were Matt Dooley, who will play baseball for the University of South Carolina-Sumter; Dillon Humes, who heads to Erskine to play golf; David Kinard, who will don the blue hose of Presbyterian College next season on the football field; and Nathanial Wilburn, who’ll run track and cross-country at Columbia International University.

Happy birthday this week to Brandon Snelgrove, Carla W. Bedenbaugh, Sarah Kress, Mo Reese, Hunter McMakin, Kayla Schatz, McKenzie Sox, and Chris Snelgrove.
