A new dog grooming salon has opened at 1301 C Ave. in West Columbia.

Wags to Whiskers held its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce Dec. 19.

About 20 chamber members and invited guests were on hand to celebrate the event and enjoy some refreshments.

Some even brought their pets with them.

Owner Michelle Blackman is new to West Columbia. She has 14 years of experience working with all breeds and has spent the last 8 years working in Lexington.

Michelle has experience grooming high-anxiety and aggressive dogs, too.
