The third annual Tools for Schools event will happen on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the South Congaree Arena. The arena is located at 395 Oak St. in West Columbia, S.C. The event is for all students preschool through twelfth.

The Cayce-West Columbia Lions Club will be conducting free eye and vision checks and Maxwell Living will be doing free spinal checks. There will also be giveaways, a DNR boating simulator and free face painting. Attendees will also have the chance to visit the local fire department.
