Town of Irmo offering new committee for residents to join
The Town of irmo is looking for residents to volunteer to join the Planning Commission and the Okra Strut Commission.
Those on the planning committee will help shape Irmo's growth through responsible development and the Okra Strut committee will help plan the annual Okra Strut Festival.
Those who are applying must be an Irmo resident by the time of their appointment and must continue to live in the town for the entirety of their service on either committee.
The deadline to apply is Nov. 11. Those interested can go to the Town of Irmo's website to apply and to recieve more information.
