Red Bank United Methodist will host its Vacation Bible School next week, June 17-21, beginning at 6 pm. This year’s theme is a trip to Athens to learn from Paul about his dangerous trip to spread the truth about Jesus. This VBS is for any rising 3-year-olds through rising 6th graders. They’ll have bible lessons, music, crafts, and games; dinner is served nightly.
South Lexington Baptist Church will hold its VBS June 17-21 as well, from 6 until 9 pm. The theme is “Join Us in the Wild: Amazing encounters with Jesus.” South Lexington Baptist is on Brevard Parkway just off Platt Springs Road.
Just down the road from us in Edmund, Edmund First Baptist will hold its VBS from June 17-June 21, starting at 6:30 nightly. Adults are welcome, too, with an adult study class while the kids are in VBS.
As always, contact the individual churches for more information on these and other programs for children.
