West Columbia Mayor Pro-tem Tem Miles and Mayor Bobby Horton presented a Resolution of Recognition and Support to Sybil and Ralph Jarrells for their efforts to bring baseball to Belize. The Jarrells, with the help of many Lexington County donors, have collected enough baseball equipment to outfit 5 teams. The first game in Belize was May 11, 2019. Pastors Sharon and Victor Hernandez, the pastors who began the baseball program in Belize were on hand for the presentation.
