• Lansing Building Products will lease a new, 50,000-square-foot, build-to-suit industrial building in the Lexington County Industrial Park in West Columbia.

The building being constructed by Beaman Pearson Holdings is expected to be completed in early 2022.

• A new Food Lion has opened in Columbia.

The newest location has opened at 6021 Saint Andrews Rd. The new store will have approximately 75 associates and serve customers daily from 7 am until 11 pm.

Food Lion recently completed the acquisition of this location, which was formerly a BI-LO, after announcing its plans last year to acquire 62 BI-LO/Harveys Supermarkets across the Carolinas and Georgia.
