Congratulations to the Royal Court of White Knoll High School’s Miss Timberwolf pageant, held at the school last Saturday. Sarah Adkins of Carolina Springs Middle School is Miss Timbercub, Kristen Smith is Miss Freshman, Aubrey Stargel is Miss Sophomore, Sophie Twohey is Miss Junior, Alexia Davis is Miss Senior, and Tayla Walker is the new Miss Timberwolf.

Prom season is around the corner. Red Bank United Methodist Church is hosting a formal wear event, “Project Prom: Building Memories Together,” that’s for young ladies or gentlemen in need of attire for upcoming proms, formals, etc. The event happens over two weekends in March. The church and event organizers are asking for donations of gently used evening wear, both dresses for the young ladies and suit jackets, ties, and tuxedos for young men. All donations go to those who come to the event, which is free to attend.

There is plenty of action this week for the Timberwolves, but only one home game among all of the teams in action. That is the White Knoll varsity baseball game, which plays Stratford High School in the first home game of the season. Boys and Girls Varsity basketball are both playing away games Friday night when they travel to Dutch Fork High. The Timberwolves’ lacrosse teams play at Spring Valley Saturday. Go T-Wolves!

Happy birthday to Mac McMakin, Teresa Boatwright, Lyle Moore, Taylor Faircloth, Sarah Wilson, Jeff Tindall, Brenda Cook, and Susan Backman.

Happy Anniversary to Larry and Brenda Keisler, Rob and Carla Bedenbaugh, and Jimmy and Annette Jordan.
