Chronicle Country football players earn All-State honors

The South Carolina Football Coaches Association recently announced its selections for the 2023 All-State teams for all five classifications. 

87 players from 11 Lexington County schools were selected as either All-State or honorable mention. 

Dutch Fork led Chronicle Country schools with 22 players named, while Irmo came in second with 18. Chapin had 10 players chosen, nine being an honorable mention. 

Here is a full list of local players chosen by the state’s football coaches.
