1 dead after Summerland Avenue accident

The Lexington County Coroner has identified the person who was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Summerland Avenue.

21-year-old Lexington resident Mason Leffel Reusch-Fulmer was killed around 2:56 a.m. on Dec. 7 while driving Southbound on Summerland Avenue when his car went off the roadway and struck a tree, the press release said.

Reusch-Fulmer died at the scene and was discovered to have not been wearing a seatbelt. The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrolcontinue to investigate the incident.
