Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services responded to the 500 block of Tindal Road just before 11:30 pm.

1 dead in Pelion fire

One person is dead after a mobile home fire near Pelion late April 9.
Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services responded to the 500 block of Tindal Road just before 11:30 pm.
James A. Moore II, 33, of Pelion was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the fire, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.
Moore was the only occupant of the home.
South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
