Two Lexington men have been arrested for sexually exploiting minors.
The state Attorney General’s Office announced the arrests of Timothy Jacob Sullivan, 42, and Billy Bruce Price, 88, in unrelated cases were made by Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigators who were working as part of the office’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Investigators were led to both Sullivan and Price by a CyperTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the release.
The release states that both Sullivan and Price are accused of distributing child sexual abuse material.
Sullivan was arrested Feb. 6, while Price was arrested Feb. 9. Both are charged with two counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The felony offense carries a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison on each count.
Both cases are set to be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
