Lexington District 1 has promoted Dr. Lucas Clamp to secondary school director, Nicole Mitchell to elementary school director and Dr. Natalie Osborne Smith to leadership development and improvement director.

Dr. currently serves as principal of River Bluff High. Mitchell replaces Van Bowers, who retires this month, as elementary schools director. She is a veteran educator with 25 years experience,

Dr. Smith currently serves as professional learning coordinator. She began her career 20 years ago as a Spanish teacher.
