Lexington’s American Legion Post 7 celebrated its 100th birthday Aug. 4.
Commander David Griffith and WWII USAF Murray Price, the oldest member of the Post, accepted the County Council Resolution in recognition and honor of the Legion and Auxiliary “for their decades of outstanding work in promoting patriotism, care for veterans and their families, and the integrity of the American way of life.”
The American Legion focuses on service to veterans, service members and communities in Lexington County.
