AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL

Nominations are being accepted through July 15 for the Airport High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The Eagle Club established the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004 to recognize the accomplishments of former athletes and coaches. Eligible nominees must have graduated from Airport High School within the past 10 years. Candidates may be male or female that excelled in any organized, competitive athletic events while at Airport. Athletic events, teams and/ or activities to be included are: basketball, cross-country, track, football, golf, soccer, baseball, bowling, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, athletic trainer.

Nomination forms are available at Airport High School, 1315 Boston Ave. in West Columbia or Lexington School District Two’s District Education Center, 715 Ninth St., West Columbia. Form are also available online at https://ahs.lex2.org/apps/news/article/1054002 .

LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL

The 2nd annual boys summer basketball camp is scheduled for July 12-14 at Lexington High School.

The camp is for boys ages 9-13 and take place from 5:30-8:30 pm in the new gymnasium. Players will be divided by age and assigned to a team, where they will receive individual attention and instructions from former Lexington High School players like Mason Carver, Darius Bryant, Tyler Reed and Caleb Stackleford.

GRAY COLLEGIATE

The 3rd annual War Eagle Soccer Summer Clinic will take place July 24-25 at the school grounds.

The camp will take place from 6:30 to 8 pm and will be for boys and girls ages 7-14. The cost is $40 per player with a $5 family discount for each additional sibling and includes a camp T-shirt.

RIVER BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL

•The 3rd annual Coaches Wives’ Night Out will take place Aug. 9 at 5 pm at Radius Church at 300 W. Main St. in downtown Lexington.

In addition to having vendors like Olive and Eve Boutique, Apothecary Soap Co., and Rustic Daisy on hand, dinner will be served as well.

Hope Radebaugh, the wife of Charleston Southern men’s basketball coach Barclay Radebaugh, and Tiffany Harker, the wife of Furman University men’s basketball coach Brett Harker, will serve as guest speakers.
