LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL

•The baseball team will hold 3 baseball camps during the month of June at the baseball field on Augusta Highway.

- Advanced Pitcher/Catcher Camp (ages 9-14): June 3-4 from 5:30-8 pm ($75)

- Advanced Hitting Camp (ages 9-14): June 5-6 from 5:30-8 pm ($75)

- Youth Skills Camp/All Skills (ages 7-13): June 10-13 from 8:30 am to noon ($100)

Those who attend all three camps will be charged $200, while the cost is $125 for attending both advanced camps. The price is reduced $25 for each additional family member attending a camp.

•The Class 5A softball championship program will hold a 3-day camp June 17-19 from 8:30-10:30 am at the school’s softball field.

All campers will be instructed in all fundamentals of the game and specialized instructions for pitchers and catchers will take place. Former Lady Wildcat players will be present to provide assistance.

The camp is open for rising 1st through 7th graders and the fee is $75. Anyone who registers before Friday will receive a free T-shirt.

GRAY COLLEGIATE

The 5th annual Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday at the Indian River Golf Club in West Columbia.

Sponsored by the War Eagle Club, proceeds will be used to support Gray Collegiate Athletics.

The putting green opens at 11:30 am and Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Following golf, an informal gathering will take place at the clubhouse. Admission is $25 per person.
