The Congaree Rapid Football Club is holding its fall registration for Recreational Youth Soccer for boys and girls ages four to 12.

All games and practices will be played at the West Columbia Soccer Complex at 760 Old Barnwell Road in West Columbia. Practices will be held on Mondays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Mondays and 6 - 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays.

The first session is scheduled for Sept. 3.

The Early Bird Registration is Aug. 13-25 for $60. The regular registration fee is $80 and runs from Aug. 27-Sept. 9 and there’s a $10 discount for a second child. The registration fees cover a jersey, shorts and socks.

Volunteer coaches receive a $20 discount on the regular registration fee. There is no charge for age group coordinators.

•The Lexington Wildcat Athletic Booster Club would like to invite all past Hall of Fame members to their annual Hall of Fame cookout.

It will take place during the Sept. 7 home football game against South Aiken. The cookout will begin at 6 p.m. in the HOF hallway.

DUTCH FORK

The second annual Dutch Fork baseball golf program will take place Sept. 22 at Northwoods Golf Club in Columbia.

The tournament will benefit the Silver Foxes’ baseball program. The cost is $85 per player or $340 per team and will cover door prizes, raffle, mulligans, goody bags and lunches.

There is also a $100 hole sponsorship fee available. The registration deadline is Sept. 12 when a $100 deposit is required.
