Incoming thunderstorms put a hold on Tuesday's American Legion League 4 game at Lexington High School.
An RBI single in the first inning by Blake Palyok of Airport gave West Columbia Post 79 a 1-0 lead over Lexington Post 7. As the fourth inning began, play was halted after the school alarm sounded indicating lightning in the area.
With increased rainfall during the stoppage, the decision was made to continue the game Thursday at Brookland-Cayce High School. It would take place prior to the start of the scheduled rematch between the two teams.
Lexington travels to Newberry College Wednesday to face Chapin/Newberry in a game rescheduled from July 2 due to rain.
